An anonymous donor called Open Hearts has graciously given Heartline and Heart House money to redo both shelter bathrooms complete with new paint, toilets, vanity and lighting.  We are so appreciative.

We are so grateful for the Roanoke Mennonite Church for their remodel of our Resident Assistants apartment.  They did such an excellent job with the floors, bathroom and fixtures. The apartment looks beautiful!

Thank you to Tazwood Community Services for the school supplies grant.

Congratulations to our Race With Your Heart 5K and 10K winners. Top 5K Finishers were Rachel Fisher (27:14.07) and Derek Stoller (23:32.96).  Top 10K winners were Emily Irwin (46:55.64)and Craig Lucktefeld (40:26.93).    Our 21st Annual Race with Your Heart Event raised almost $18,000 to assist with Heartline and Heart House programming!  Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers and participants for a successful event!

We are so blessed to be a part of the Woodford County Community!  Thank you to all who gave of their time, money and talents to us in 2016!

Area churches who are supporting the Heartline's Benevolence Program are Grace Fellowship, Apostolic Christian Church in Roanoke, Eureka Bible Church, Apostolic Christian Church of Eureka, Great Oaks Community Church, Eureka Christian Church and Crosspoint Community Church.  In lieu of their own program, these churches are allowing Woodford County Heartline to administer funds to area residents who seek emergency assistance with housing, utilities, and other crisis situations.  At Heartline, we establish a protocol for those seeking assistance by not just offering a handout, but genuinely ensuring they are equipped with necessary tools and education to push through the crisis and take steps for their future.  It is also a way for us to have a database of the need in our community, and save ministerial and staff time at the participating church. We encourage all churches in Woodford County to join our program and allow Heartline to be the administrator of their benevolence dollars.  For details, please call Blaine or Brandi.
